आओ करें शिवरात्रि की बात,
जब शिव को मिला पार्वती का साथ,
शमशानवासी, भस्म धारी कैलाशपति ,रूद्रावतारी,
बारात में जिनके अघोरियों की सवारी,
जिस दिन पार्वती शिव की अर्धांगिनी बनी ,
उस दिन महाशिवरात्रि मनी,
अर्धनारीश्वर भोले कहलाए ,
चलो रुद्राभिषेक कर आए,
जब करें इनके रूप की बात,
नीलकंठ और त्रिनेत्र है इनकी पहचान,
गले में नाग साजे ,
हाथ में त्रिशूल और डमरू बाजे,
जटा जिनके गंगा विराजे,
महाकाल ,कालों के काल,
सृष्टि के पालनहार,
शक्तियां,जिनकी अपार,
शिव जब तांडव करने पर आए,
उनके क्रोध से कोई न बच पाए,
शिव का तीसरा नेत्र जब खुल जाए ,
सृष्टि को प्रलय से कौन बचाए,
विष का पान कर सृष्टि को बचाया ,
तीनों लोक में डंका बजाया,
नंदी है जिनके प्यारे ,
गणेश जिनके दुलारे ,
नाथों के नाथ है, भोलेनाथ हमारे
चलो शिव की महिमा गाएं,
शिव का अभिषेक कर आए
